What does the U of a crystal head refer to?
The thickness unit is 1um (micrometer) ≈ 40U. Generally speaking, the thicker the gold plating, the more resistant it is to insertion and extraction,

Crystal Head Connection Standard
Peel off the outer skin of the Ethernet cable and you will see the following eight colored metal wires.
Network cable production process
1) Insert the Ethernet cable body into the stripping port, rotate the stripping knife, and peel off the outer layer;
2) Sort and level the wire ends according to the 568A/B connection method, and reserve an appropriate length;
3) After leveling, place the network cable into the cutting port and cut it neatly;
4) Insert the trimmed network cable into the bottom of the crystal head;
5) Insert the crystal head into the corresponding pliers and press it together;
6) Insert the network cable into the tester, and the 1-8 lights will light up sequentially to indicate normal operation.
